Description Jostein Lima 2003-04-09 04:19:40 UTC
I had to add the noscsi option to be able to boot gentoo 1.4rc3. The initial
boot attempt stopped when probing for the ac97xx module. It looked like the
ac9xxx module was loaded fine though. I have two SCSI disks connected to the
internal Adaptec AIC 7902 adapter. One disk on each channel.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start a default boot from the liveCD on a Supermicro X5DA8 motherboard
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The system hangs.

Expected Results:
Continue to boot after finding my scsi disks.
