s939 ~ # emerge -pv =kde-9999.4
...
[blocks B     ] kde-base/kde (is blocking kde-base/kde-meta-3.5.7)

kde-meta-3.5.7 and kde-9999.4 are slotted version, so no block should exist.

off course, I may unistall kde-meta and install kde-9999.4, but in this way `emerge -pv world` does not work correctly.

Don't mix split and monolithic ebuilds, and don't file bugs about stuff that's not in the official tree.

This should in theory work however... slots are completely separate so blockers in one slot shouldn't affect blockers in another slot..
