I wanted to use the keymap file /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/cz.map.gz, but I have found this to be qwertz so I think it should be placed in /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwertz/ (or, much better, converted to qwerty - I don't understand the masochists who use us-qwerty and cz-qwertz together :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
still a problem with kbd-1.12 ?
kbd-1.12-r2 - still the same ... line 386 of cz.map says "keycode 21 = +z"...
ok, so what needs to be done to 'convert this to qwerty' ? if you can post a patch to apply to the map, i can add a kbd-1.12-r3 with it
Created attachment 42491 [details, diff] patch to convert /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/cz.map from QWERTZ to QWERTY so, here is the diff between QWERTZ and QWERTY version of the keymap I would suggest to place a copy of the cz.map file to /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwertz and THEN apply the patch to /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/cz.map so that there are both verions available (at the correct places)
awesome, thanks for the patch :) try out kbd-1.12-r3
