Description Daniel LaMotte 2007-08-24 19:53:12 UTC
If someone could get bootstrap_make in the bootstrap.sh script, that would be awesome. I just attempted to use the script on irix after compiling bash myself and make blows up on some of the bootstrapped pkg's because syntax is incorrect, but gnu make works fine.

Reproducible: Always

patch to add bootstrap_make to the bootstrap_prefix.sh script

I have tested this and it works on linux systems. Pretty simple patch with low risk.

I think it works better if the target is called bootstrap_make ;)

Anyway added. Sorry for the long delay. On FreeBSD I also had to bootstrap bash. Maybe we can make the bootstrap-bash.sh script so portable that it works for both FreeBSD and IRIX.

Thanks!
