Description Lee Packham 2003-04-08 14:33:56 UTC
When I boot the LiveCD in my HP Pavilion ze4130... it boots! They keyboard is
still responding right up to the point (i check with the caps lock on/off)
where Storage Hardware Detection begins. At that point, the detection finishes
ok but the keyboard no longer works.

There is no option to disable the hardware detection (little annoying, and
would have solved this).

Hardware:

HP Pavilion ze4130
256 MB RAM
ATI IGP340M chipset
30gb HDD

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
See above in details.
Actual Results:
See above in details.

Expected Results:
I should be able to disable the hardware detection. Then all my problems would
have gone away! :) The hardware detection shouldn't wreck the keyboard though.

Sorry, it should be rc3 but that option isn't in the list :(

-rc4 is available now, it should have any option you need to disable
different parts of the detection, please test

no feedback, closing

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
