Hello, In the section "2. working with gentoo" /"3. portage features" /"3.c. Caching Compilation" the handbook tells the default ccache cache directory is: /var/tmp/ccache I think it doesn't fits the /var/tmp obvious semantic. In my opinion, it should be in /var/cache/ccache instead. Reproducible: Always
/var/tmp/ is fine; it's something that should be easily cleaned out if desired. Talk to the Portage devs if you think something else should be recommended by default in all our docs, make.conf, manpages, etc.
