it's been very long since the package sys-kernel/vserver-sources has been updated. It's still sys-kernel/vserver-sources-2.2.0-r1, which is based on vserver patch 2.2.0, which in turn is based on vanilla kernel 2.6.20. More and more hardware is not supported by this version of the kernel.

2.2.0.3 and 2.3.0.17 in cvs for some time now ...
