Description Mario Hein 2007-08-21 06:33:40 UTC
Don't know if it's removed by the GNOME-Devs or only not compiled.
Needs to be inspected...

Reproducible: Always

It'd be great if you could track down this issue and tell us what happened. We'll probably get around to do it someday, but doing it yourself we'll probably be much faster :)

Thanks

Please reemerge gnome-utils and pipe the output to a file like so :

emerge -1 gnome-utils &> build.log

Thanks

build log of cmd: emerge gnome-utils

The log states the following:

The following will be built -
=============================

Console helper (logview)          : NO
Debug messages (libgdict)         : NO
Logview default message file      :
Build gfloppy                     : YES
Gdict version                     : 0.10.8

But in fact, it isn't built.

The configure test (and the configure output) for that is broken. Rather than bang my head on it trying to figure out why, I've just enabled gfloppy if hal is enabled (since gfloppy uses hal for detection). Wait a couple of hours, sync, and re-emerge.
