My drivers are installed but i have problem with every application (and game) which use opengl. Considering there's nothing we could fix with binary-only drivers, you'll be better off reporting this to ATI.
But i was using this drivers on my 32bit machine and they were working ;/
Video Card: Radeon X1950PRO Card is not officially supported by any driver in the tree or on ati's site, It will be fully supported in the 8.41.x release which you will see in September.

I have been running this card on linux for more then 7 months.
