This already provides a Tcl/Tk GUI with exact same shitty look and feel as the gtk+-1 one, in case someone really insists on having a GUI available for this. And tcl/tk is still maintained upstream, unlike gtk+-1.2 http://jocr.sourceforge.net/screenshots.html (Tk) http://dev.gentooexperimental.org/~jakub/pics/gocr.png (gtk+-1) I suggest removing USE=gtk from the ebuild.
Wouldn't it prefering the Tcl/tk one be better, that way, if someone really wants the GTK one or doesn't want Tcl/tk they can still have the package?
gone in 0.45, we'll see about getting it stable to kill older version later
Sparc stable (built with USE='doc tk' and tk interface works).
ppc stable
ppc64 stable
x86 stable
Stable on Alpha. Not closing since I don't know if the complete removal of gtk+-support is settled yet - and jakub is AFK since about a week.
