Tacēre signat concordiam.
(In reply to comment #2) > Tacēre signat concordiam. Not necessarily...arches, there was no ok from maintainers, but I think it is good to go. KDE, Gnome, Xfce and so on? Anything to say against it?
You never CC archteams without maintainers permission. *desktop-file-utils-0.14 (09 Sep 2007) 09 Sep 2007; Samuli Suominen <drac@gentoo.org> +files/50desktop-file-utils-gentoo.el, +desktop-file-utils-0.14.ebuild: Version bump wrt #191755 with fixed emacs support wrt #191764.
(In reply to comment #4) > You never CC archteams without maintainers permission. 0.13 is not good to go? Or do you better want 0.14 with fixed Emacs support?

Or do you better want 0.14 with fixed Emacs support? > 0.13 follows desktop entry spec 1.0, but emacs support in it is outdated upstream changelog: 2007-06-30 Vincent Untz <vuntz@gnome.org> * misc/desktop-entry-mode.el: updated to desktop entry spec 1.0. Patch by Ville Skyttä <ville.skytta@iki.fi> this is for 0.14, so I'd prefer we wait till 0.14 can be stabilized with working emacs support & up to date specification.
