Seems like findutils-4.1.7.tar.gz is no more at least located to the location
specified inside the ebuild.

It can be found at 
http://www.gurutech.it/files/byolinux/findutils-4.1.7.tar.gz or possibly 
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/slackware/slackware_source/a/findutils/ (the file 
is there but I didn't download it to check the signature).

I've fixed this in findutils-4.1.7-r4 (currently ~-masked) by pointing directly to the Gentoo mirrors.  I don't think pointing to another distribution is a good solution.  Hopefully GNU will start supplying new versions of their utilities again on their own ftp sites.
