Hahaha; well nothing we could do except dropping the keyword.

Hmmm, LOL, this is displayed on x86 as well? Well, I guess this thing can go to /dev/null completely then.

Well, can you at least p.mask it? I certainly don't want to receive any dupes about this.

There's an easy fix for this described here: http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?s=ec53bec617e954f2cb5c6f33849c63bc&t=4235&page=5 I'm not familiar with how the ebuild uses the ati-driver installer script/binary, but it could copy the string found on the 'signature=' line into the file /etc/ati/signature. I've done this manually and it's fixed the problem for me.
Yes, fixed it here, too. I did the following: ./ati-driver-installer-8.40.4-x86.x86_64.run --extract && cp ./fglrx-install.c6g5KH/common/etc/ati/signature /etc/ati/ After restarting X, the watermark had vanished. cu Dieter
Created attachment 128156 [details, diff] A proposed patch Just install the "signature" file into /etc/ati bye
(In reply to comment #9) > Created an attachment (id=128156) [edit] > A proposed patch > > Just install the "signature" file into /etc/ati > > bye > It's been done since yesterday. Is anyone still having problems?
