Attached ebuild creates desktop menu entry using make_desktop_entry for xnview. I know xnview is masked for removal but i hope upstream fixes this issue. There is also a new version of xnview announced at the xnview forum [1]. I don't know how reliable this is but the author has mentioned a beta version which will probably appear in september! As i have mentioned in the description above, the author of xnview has proposed a news version. Unfortunately it is delayed to the end of october. See the thread mentioned above. He is changing the gui from motif to qt, so please give him some time!
Current version won't be touched at all, so it's still WONTFIX. We'll wait for the new version.
