I have a 3.5 GB file called Gw.dat not showing up in kdirstat. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.reload folder 2.restart kdirstat & reload folder 3.
What version of kdirstat? Please attach your emerge --info and the output of ls -l <path/<your-file> and ls -l <path>. By the way, I've tested it here with kdirstat-2.5.3 and a 7.78GB file and it worked.

Your emerge --info seems fine. What is the filesystem of that partition and can you see the file and it's details if you browse the dir with konqueror?
filesystem is ext3, I can see the file in konqueror, displays the same information as ls -l. The file also "works" as it should, b/c Guild Wars runs without any problems.
