I checked my portage logs and unless it's gcc-4.2.0 related, it didn't affect
qt-4.3.0, but it does affect qt-4.3.0-r2 and qt-4.3.1

There were a few of 
warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules
but those are probably harmless.

Well, qt-4.3.2 doesn't seem to have this problem.
