Description Ariel Poliak 2007-08-09 20:13:18 UTC
Since the above-mentioned version of Kuroo was released, the syntax for emerge has changed, and this causes messages to come up on the log, which serve no purpose other than to inform that Kuroo is using a deprecated syntax. The two unified diff files I am uploading fix that issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.do any operation in Kuroo.
2.see the log, which will contain the message about --nocolor being used, and suggesting to use --color=no instead.

I've contacted upstream about this. Waiting for their answer now.

They quickly released 0.80.3 which fixes this problem as well as a potential crash. I've just committed the new ebuild to CVS.

Wondering about he comment in the changelog about the desktop. I upgraded from 80.2-r1 and now the desktop part is broken. Menu item does not work and emerge said
"* Messages for package app-portage/kuroo-0.80.31:

 * /usr/share/applications/kde/kuroo.desktop: required key "Encoding" not found
 * GNU info directory index is up-to-date."
