Description Robert Buchholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-09 11:51:32 UTC
Hi arch teams,

please review, test and stabilize app-misc/lcdproc-0.5.2-r1.

It is the latest upstrem release and in the tree since 06 May 2007 without bug reports (-r1 since June).

== Testing ==

* Please emerge with all LCD_DEVICES and USEs on:
LCD_DEVICES=" bayrad cfontz cfontz633 cfontzpacket cwlinux eyeboxone g15 graphlcd glk hd44780 icpa106 imon iowarrior lb216 lcdm001 lcterm md8800 ms6931 mtcs16209x mtxorb noritakevfd pyramid sed1330 sed1520 serialvfd sli stv5730 svga t6963 text tyan ula200 xosd ea65 picolcd serialpos"
USE="doc debug nfs samba seamless-hbars usb lirc irman joystick"

Testing:
* Use an lcd you own or
* Use the LCD_DEVICES=ncurses and set up LCDd.conf like:
     [server]
     Driver=curses

Then start LCDd on the command line and see the display. When also starting the
lcdproc client (via init script or on command line), it should show you some
system stats. You can also try app-misc/lcd-stuff as a client.
