Christian Hoffman did some work on the php-overlay lately. He created ebuilds with backports of various security-flaws in php and from my point of view, this work was solid. As php is a critical package when it comes to security issues, I think we can need more help there. He'll send the first dev quiz to recruiters today.
Just sent my quiz. Just for reference and to avoid any confusion: Name: Christian Hoffmann (double n ;)) Mail: christian@hoffie.info
All clear from the PHP herd, Christian's doing a fantastic job with PHP while I'm away, and him becoming a dev will make things much easier for the Gentoo/PHP world, which needs good people atm. :) Best regards, CHTEKK.
Gonna take a look at the first quiz this weekend.
Ebuild quiz reviewed, waiting for additional input / end-quiz.

LDAP done, userinfo done, groups on stork done.
bugzilla done, -core done.
#-dev done. What you need to do (as in I can't do that for you): - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - send yourself mail to create your .mail directory - add yourself to mail aliases (like php@gentoo.org, net-ftp@gentoo.org) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located (see http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/infrastructure/ldap.xml for further reference)
OK, announcement sent. If *YOU* don't have anything else (that still ain't fixed), this bug is FIXED.
It's really sad to say, but I'll have to retire as I do not see any chance that my free time (and as such time, that I can spend on Gentoo) is going to increase anytime soon. So, please retire me. Maybe I'll return someday, once I've got more free time. At least I can say that I'm leaving while having in mind that mabi did and still does a great job in continuing the work on PHP, and I really appreciate it. So, thanks for the time I was able to spend with all of you (especially hanno, phreak, CHTEKK, a3li, dertobi123 and many more :)). I really learned a lot and I hope I was able to give something back. See you. I will be reachable by mail via christian at hoffie.info.
Christian, I'm sorry to hear that, but as you know if you ever want to get back, all you need to do is reopen your bug. I'm giving you the usual 15 days to rethink before assigning this bug to infra.
Let's proceed with the retirement then. Christian, thank you for all your hard work and if you ever find the time to get back, just reopen this bug.
Usual infra-retire done. users need to be checked against *.dev.g.o machines still. forums, planet: your bug.
