Description Erik Ekman 2007-08-08 18:17:50 UTC
irssi-0.8.11 installed. It has happened five times so far. I will try to analyze the core file next time it dumps. It can be from a few days to some months before the crashes. I had no problems for years before that.

The machine is quite slow, (E250 with 2x300MHz UltraSpoarc II and 768MB RAM) so I have not kept the system very up to date.

Either my machine is a bit unstable (but no other apps crash), or maybe someone tries to execute x86 code through a buffer overflow, or something else goes wrong..

uname -a:

Reopen if you can reproduce this after you've recompiled much of your system with a supported toolchain. You gcc/glibc/binutils/linux-headers versions are unsupported.
