Description Jeroen ten Berge 2003-04-05 08:40:23 UTC
After configuring the gentoo-kernel-sources (1.4-rc3) i did a make dep
make bzImage
make modules
here it exits with lots of errors while trying to compile safeserial.c
I had almost all drivers compiled as modules... Maybe a clash with another
driver ? Couldn't see it with the drivers help text...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.select all USB serial devices as modules
2.compile kernel
3.compile modules

Actual Results:
Sorry, i removed the safeserial.c from the Makefile and continued compiling

Expected Results:
Compile and continue

irellevant at this stage

this driver is removed from gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r3. not worth my fixing it. looks like it
hasn't been touched in 2 years.
