Layman has a -v/--verbose command line switch for displaying overlay details, but it is not documented in man page and "-h" output. 

-v/--verbose switch is the only way to display overlay description, so it should be referred in the docs.

Thanks for the note. layman-1.1 is in the tree and this should be fixed.
