I've written an ebuild for jpilot-Mail 0.1.3 (http://ludovic.rousseau.free.fr/softwares/jpilot-Mail/). It's a plugin for the JPilot Palm sync program to send and receive mail. I suggest this should go into app-misc/jpilot-mail since that's where jpilot also lives. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

A newer version of jpilot-mail has become available since I wrote this ebuild back in April... and apparently this ebuild doesn't compile either version correctly on some systems. I'll redo the ebuild sometime; closing for now.
