wipe largefile.mpg 
wipe: cannot stat `largefile.mpg': Value too large for defined data type
% emerge -pv wipe
[ebuild   R   ] app-misc/wipe-2.2.0  0 kB 
rm can delete it, though, so its not missing largefile-support in the kernel...
