A trivial patch can boost development aesthetics by avoiding ugly messages from aclocal:

/usr/share/aclocal/dotconf.m4:5: warning: underquoted definition of AM_PATH_DOTCONF
/usr/share/aclocal/dotconf.m4:5:   run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
/usr/share/aclocal/dotconf.m4:5:   or see http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending-aclocal

It seems to be the only package on my system with such a problem...

I'll attach the patch now. I've sent it to upstream, but haven't heard a single word back - the library seems to be dead :-(
