Oh great and hardworking arch teams, if you find a spare moment...

we would much appreciate if you could give darcs-1.0.9 a kicking and if it passes muster mark it stable on your arch.

We're interested it getting it marked stable on:
amd64, ppc, ppc64, sparc and x86

Older versions are marked stable on ppc, ppc64 and x86, so this would be the first stable versions for amd64 and sparc.

We're completely confident that it works on these arches though since the Haskell team have been using darcs on amd64 and sparc for ages (though admittedly not version 1.0.9). darcs does have a self test, and the ebuild supports src_test.

An additional quick test would be to try grabbing our overlay via darcs:
darcs get --partial http://haskell.org/~gentoo/gentoo-haskell
