RSStool is a tool to read, parse, merge, and write RSS (and Atom) feeds.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:




New local USE flag "presets" enables some preset searches to create RSS feeds.
rsstool-1.0.0_rc2.ebuild: New ebuild for RRStool.  See: http://rsstool.y7.ath.cx/
${P}-config.mak-presets.patch: Makes the required patch to use the presets.
${P}-config.mak.patch: Removed hard coded paths, but left defaults.
${P}-Makefile.patch fixes the install process by creating the subdirectory in the image directory if needed.  Also, removed LDFLAGS=-s so that the users LDFLAGS are respected and to prevent pre-stripped binary files.

I have commited this to sunrise so that it can be available until it is moved to portage.  It is currently awaiting review with sunrise.

This package is now available in sunrise.  Please let me know when it is in portage and I will remove it from sunrise.
