Description Jesse Adelman 2003-04-02 17:41:08 UTC
I select "Yahoo Messenger" from the Gnome2 Internet menu. I click through the
setup wizard. I keep the default buttons checked (GNOME->Add a menu item,
GNOME->Add an icon on my desktop, and Start Yahoo! Messenger when X-Window
starts). I click Next. Error dialog appears: "Error: cannot open
/opt/ymessenger/bin/ymessenger.desktop".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3. See details

Actual Results:
Same problem repeats, wizard errors out. If I unccheck all options, ymessenger runs.

Expected Results:
I get icons, ymessenger runs.

Also, same behaviour on my PIII laptop. Thanks.

Matthew, did you experience similar gnome issues with this?

the ebuild actually does install a menu item for you, but this is fixed now, anyway.
