Description Garrett Holmstrom 2007-07-24 23:56:39 UTC
Upon launch, I connect to irc.freenode.net. The connection appears to complete, but when I receive the welcome message from ChanServ, pidgin segfaults. Disabling that IRC account or disabling the archive plugin seems to fix the problem and allow messages to be received normally.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install purple-plugin_pack 1.0
2. Enable the 'Album' plugin
3. Sign onto an IRC server
4. Receive a message on the IRC server
Actual Results:
Pidgin gives its stock segfault message:

Hi, user. We need to talk.
I think something's gone wrong here. It's probably my fault.
No, really, it's not you... it's me... no no no, I think we get along well
it's just that.... well, I want to see other people. I... what?!? NO! I
haven't been cheating on you!! How many times do you want me to tell you?! And
for the last time, it's just a rash!
Aborted

The program then dies.

Expected Results:
The next message should be displayed in a message box.
