The install CD loads eepro100 instead of e100, this seems to cause issues with
newer intel NICS. The NIC in my IBM x330 was not working properly (got dhcp then
no network connectivity) until I rmmoded eepro100 and modprobed e100

the next livecd has better hw detection.
This may fix this issue.

eepro100 and e100 will both load based on the PCI signature of the card, this is a known issue as per Intel. For the installer kernel, could you only include e100 as opposed to both.
