Description Michael Wolf 2007-07-22 15:55:25 UTC
Since yesterday, ooffice can't start, the error message is:

"michael@thor ~ $ ooffice
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0x13) in reply type 0x0!"

Its the same error, when I start ooffice-bin or the version from source compiled.
I have started revep-rebuild, it does any pakets rebuild but, the error (oo) stay always.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I think its possibly a java bug!?

As I already told you in private mail: Check what you changed since it worked and try to revert this. If you didn't rebuild OOo directly before this showed up it is highly unlikely this is OOo's fault.
Comment 2 Hanno Zysik (geki) 2007-07-22 19:41:41 UTC
Sounds like bug 174707. Though, just a random thought.

The changes are not easy to reverting. I make a emerge -avuD world every day. My computer are 24/7/52 up and Oo is permanent on. So I can not exactly say, when the error are on.
revdep-rebuild are not resolve the problem, Oo doesnt start. I think that is an Oo problem.

Do you have the xcb USE flag enabled, or did you build libX11 or mesa with it?

> Do you have the xcb USE flag enabled, or did you build libX11 or mesa with it?

No, I have not this flag enabled and I have not build libX11 or mesa with this flag.
Comment 6 Michael Wolf 2007-08-03 09:17:24 UTC
Yesterday, after a update with emerge -avuD world, ooffice works fine. Its possible, this was a problem with mesa (yesterday updated)!?
