Configuration defaults in /etc/xxv/xxvd.cfg should be updated to changes in file-system. E.g.: initscript=/etc/init.d/xxv [RECORDS] previewlog=/var/log/xxv/xxvd_mplayer.log I'm not sure if those are all options that should be adapted. Please, *always* stick overlay name into the bug summary when filing bugs about stuff that's not in the official tree.
An output on emerge/install * "edit /etc/xxv/xxvd.cfg !" should be enough to point the first time user what is to do. Updater get the info by etc-update. Anyway, emerge output will allways ignored... But you are right, i have missed some parts to change on last update. I have added more usefull entrys to the configfile and adapted to new DIR structur. Thank you Stefan
