Description John Mylchreest (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-01 10:44:47 UTC
Would i be possible to have gs-sources provide win4lin with the appropriate
deps, as gs-sources has the win4lin patch, and when emerging win4lin, it wants
win4lin-sources?

it saves having to inject win4lin sources.
perhaps a virtual package?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gs-sources
2. emerge win4lin -p
Actual Results:
[ebuild N ] sys-kernel/win4lin-sources-2.4.20-r1
[ebuild N ] app-arch/rpm2targz-8.0
[ebuild N ] app-emulation/win4lin-4.0.16

Expected Results:
[ebuild N ] app-arch/rpm2targz-8.0
[ebuild N ] app-emulation/win4lin-4.0.16

in the next version you can set a local USE-flag to remove this depend. Maybe "winkernel"?
or better a virtual proving it.. you can see it in the next version.
