Ebuild for the latest development version of the Linux UVC driver.  Latest version currently in Portage (0.1.0_pre100) didn't work with my camera and the latest luvcview (compiled manually; not in Portage), but the latest code checked out of SVN did, so I thought an SVN ebuild to track the latest developments might be of interest to some people. :)

Eh, if you need a newer snapshot, we can do it. Live VCS ebuilds suck.

Please do make the new snapshot. The latest build, 120, is a great one for it (I've been lurking on their ML for a while).

Also, that svn ebuild won't work since the HOMEPAGE line is on two lines.

Also, we need the related program 'luvcview' - someone seems to be maintaining an ebuild here:

well, give me a new isight patch and I will get it in. I am using it with isight and the current svn does not work with the last patch from http://i-nz.net/projects/linux-kernel/

And the patch was not updated yet. So as long as it is not updated I am not updating linux-uvc, sorry.

Ebuild and module work fine for me here on amd64, kernel 2.6.22-gentoo-r5 with the Quickcam for Notebooks Pro. However I can understand Stefans objection in comment #4 and I'm ok using the ebuild from within my private overlay for the moment.
