fixed in CVS, success report would be appreciated

Comment 5 Steve Arnold archtester gentoo-dev 2007-09-20 05:00:36 UTC
I just hit this on my efika with a fresh sync... (ppc)
Comment 6 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-20 12:16:34 UTC
Steve, please elaborate on what "this" is. 1.0.6-r2 has:

if (use x86 || use amd64) && has_version "<sys-libs/glibc-2.6"

so I don't see how you can hit that on ppc.
Comment 7 Steve Arnold archtester gentoo-dev 2007-10-02 15:28:19 UTC
Sorry, I was updating several boxes at the same time; it hit me on the kids' amd64 box the other day, and again today on a different amd64 box. Neither glibc nor the extra libstdc++ thing is built with USE=nptl...
Comment 8 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-02 15:30:51 UTC
okay, then I'm closing this again
Comment 9 Steve Arnold archtester gentoo-dev 2007-10-02 15:38:43 UTC
How is this resolved if the only stable version (1.0.4) in portage is still broken? I would recommend either back-porting the fix or mark one of the newer ones stable. Since you've now got 8 unstable sbcl ebuilds and only one marked stable, it would seem to make sense to do one or the other...
Comment 10 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-10-02 15:55:29 UTC
You are correct, I have requested stabilization in Bug 194519.
