Description Bas Wijnen 2003-03-31 06:54:59 UTC
Some lines in mozilla appear as white on white for me. By selecting a part of
the line, the characters get visible, as long as I don't select a certain
character. Those "trigger characters" can be seen in the source (only by saving
it to disk and viewing it with less, since mozilla's view source doesn't show
the lines either) as <92>, and they are meant to be apostrophs.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to
http://science.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/03/29/1426251&mode=thread&tid=191

Actual Results:
I see an article which seems to be three paragraphs. On the paragraph borders,
there is a line of text missing.

Expected Results:
It should have been one paragraph.

I recently installed gentoo from a liveCD (rc3). I installed X and mozilla with
emerge mozilla. I have X version 4.2.1-r2 and mozilla version 1.2.1. I changed
the minimum size of characters to 13, but I changed it back to none later. That
didn't affect the bug (I didn't check the bug before I made that setting).

Works fine here. Check your fonts/locale settings.

Please paste output of 'emerge info'
