Description Christophe PEREZ 2007-07-14 05:12:33 UTC
After I upgraded to zaptel 1.2.18-r1 and asterisk 1.2.21.1, I couldn't connect anymore to my server by ssh. I always got an error :
RSA_public_decrypt failed: error:0407006A:rsa routines:RSA_padding_check_PKCS1_type_1:block type is not 01
key_verify failed for server_host_key

In the same time, fail2ban stopped itself after several minutes even if I restarted it.

I downgraded zaptel to 1.2.16, and I have no problem anymore.

Use 1.2.18 since 1.2.18-r1 has OSLEC and that's heavily experimental...
Comment 2 Christophe PEREZ 2007-07-14 14:55:08 UTC
I'm not sure now, but I think I tried 1.2.18.
I'll try again.
And, as I was missing oslec patch, I'm sure I compiled 1.2.18-r1 without oslec USE.

zaptel-1.2.18-r1 is now package.masked until we get it into shape.

BTW, are you on hardened by any chance?
I'm seeing some issues too on a hardened box here.

Not at all for me.

I confirme, seems to work now with 1.2.18 (not r1).
