portage refuses to update vmware-workstation 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -vp vmware-workstation

Actual Results:

Ok, now I'm really, really confused.  I think Zac's now fixed it, but I'm not certain what went wrong...
