Required 30 days have passed with no open bugs. Upstream is dead and safe bet is this is a last release from them. This version has fixed ebuild to install desktop entry, *actually* install all built binaries(!), and other various fixes.. You know what to do, thanks.
media-sound/ripperx-2.7.0 on AMD64: Emerges Fine, No Collisions. It ripped a few cd's I had around fine to mp3. Although ripperX wouldn't play any music when I pressed play beside the tracks detected on the cd and wouldn't talk to the CDDB server, the main function of ripping to mp3 worked flawlessly.
