This is x11-base/xorg-server-1.3.0.0, I might add.

Read the above for info about signal 11.
Comment 5 Marek Cruz 2007-09-30 09:18:27 UTC
Hello,

in my case I've followed the instructions http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml and emerged world with those settings. When the emerging was finished, I've solved the libexpat issue (that was easy) and I finally thought I'll get some meaningful backtrace for you, but the problem has disappeared and X server is crashing only rarely, this time only because the fglrx is not work of the professional kernel developer, we all know it's somehow crappy.

I'm sure it's not possible to use/test/debug the latest (not too stable) versions of the software without debugging symbols included and I hope the link will help you too.

No more segfaults without a proper info what has caused them.
Comment 6 Stian Skjelstad 2008-01-04 11:45:55 UTC
Have you changed any compilationflags (like removing -O2 and stuff like that?) If not, you can probably close this bug report with WORKSFORME and reopen if it reappears.
