GProFTPD Is a GTK2 application to administrate ProFTPD. It has some nice features such as monitoring what the users downloads. And how much they have downloaded and many more features. He who wrote it used /etc/proftpd.conf as config file in the code. But the Ebuild changes that with sed. And the Makefile caused Sandbox errors. (It tried to install directly to /usr/share/* instead of ${D}/usr/share/*) But the patch in the file fixes that. The file GProFTPD-8.0.3ebuild.tar.gz contains the ebuild and the patch to fix the Makefiles. app-admin/gproftpd would be a nice place to but it in. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Wow, noticed that almost NOTHING works in this thing.. Alot of work will have to be put in it... I'll do it soonish.. No real rush since it isn't realy a needed application.
nothing works in the ebuild or nothing works in the actual program? this is going to be rather low priority then .. oh and please attach ebuilds in text/plain and not in tarballs please. thanks.

Thanks for the ebuild! I've updated it to the 8.1.0 version (released yesterday) and committed it to the tree. Rsync away and let me know how it works. It's marked for testing right now because it appears to have some usability issues. I'm uncomfortable with the fact that it seems to imply forced run-as root.
