Hi,

vnstat is a network analyzer, which gets his data from the /proc fs.

I recommend net-analyzer/vnStat.

Hi,

vnStat 1.1 is now available so this is an update for the previous ebuild. It includes correct dependences, removes the need for uppercase letters and installs the included cron like it was supposed to.

I suggest net-analyzer/vnstat

vnStat 1.2 is available, I think the only thing that has to be changed in
the build is the line "dodir /var/spool/vnstat", because it should be "dodir
/var/lib/vnstat" now according to the changelog.

Ok, here's the ebuild for vnStat 1.2. Compared to the previous version,
paths have been changed to conform with FHS and there's two examples for
ppp-users.

I hope there's still someone tracking this bug since somehow one other
ebuild of version 1.1 got to the cvs although this one is older.

Please commit this latest version in gentoo. it has some nice features which
i would like to use on my machines.

vnstat-1.4 is in portage.
