Silly me - fixored.

Read with me... "SPARC has no stable"... kthxbye.
It crashed! It emerges with a lot of warnings on amd64. Most are in the form "warning: passing argument N of 'some_function' with different width due to prototype". # /etc/init.d/radvd start * Caching service dependencies ... (In reply to comment #6) > It crashed! > > It emerges with a lot of warnings on amd64. Most are in the form "warning: > passing argument N of 'some_function' with different width due to prototype". Does the same thing happen on your box with the current stable?
(In reply to comment #7) > Does the same thing happen on your box with the current stable? None of the radvd ebuilds are marked stable on amd64. It looks like it was keyworded based on the fact that it compiled, not because of successful testing. See Bug #59087.
Odd as it works fine on my amd64. Could you attach your config that causes this crash and also try without -msse3 in your CFLAGS. thanks
x86 stable
====amd64==== It doesn't segfault here, and works. One note though, the example configuration has a .bz2 extension not a .gz as noted in the einfo statement. That is all. already ppc stable
ok, this segfault is stupid. a quick "radvd -m stderr" reveals that it always segfaults when there's a syntax error in the config file, after commenting the lines that had syntax files (I think it was because of unmatched brackets). since there's no previous stable I'd say this should be fixed before stabilization happens
