Strange, it seems that the announcement of this version has not been sent to the cdrecord-announces-mailinglist.

Anyways, it's in the portage-tree now.

app-cdr/cdrtools-2.01.01_alpha30 was released on 2007-07-10.

I'm not subscribed to the mailing list, but you can always find those releases on ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha

PS: sorry to bug you again after an hour already ;)

I know. I'm currently in a private discussion with Jörg about the way Gentoo handles cdrtools. He spoke about the release this morning. And it will be in the tree after I did some checks.

That's something I know. But should I check a lot of webpages every day (cdrtools is not the only package I maintain)? Therefore we have E-Mail and RSS.

No you shouldn't. The new alpha should have been announced on the ML (unless the ML mentions only stable releases and RCs).
