net-fs/nfs-utils needs a fairly new sys-fs/e2fsprogs, and this is not currently listed as a depend.  For more information, please see:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On an old (exact revision unknown, about 483 packages needed updating to current, 2.6.15-gentoo-r1 kernel) system, 'emerge -uDav world' broke on the net-fs/nfs-utils package
2. Installing a newer sys-fs/e2fsprogs manually fixed this

post all relevant information in the bug report instead of linking to external resources ... otherwise people spend time trying to pick out what you think we should be picking out rather than you just posting it
