I get this when trying to suspend...

Stopping kernel threads timed out after 20 seconds (1 tasks refusing to freeze):
 lirc_dev
Restarting tasks ... <4> Strange, lirc_dev not stopped
done.

Using lirc version 0.8.1

Reproducible: Always

have you tested 0.8.2?

Just tried 0.8.2 and the same problem occurs.

I think you should forward this bug to lirc developers as we cannot do much about it.
