Description Pablo Odorico 2007-07-05 12:40:51 UTC
I read somewhere in bugzilla that uclibc should compile with -nls -userlocales -iconv, but still doesn't.

Using default flags doesn't work either.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.crossdev -t arm-softfloat-linux-uclibc -v
Actual Results:
arm-softfloat-linux-uclibc-gcc  -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -fno-strict-aliasing  -mlittle-endian -msoft-float -fno-stack-protector -fno-builtin -nostdinc -D_LIBC -I../../../../include -I.  -fstrict-aliasing -Os -funit-at-a-time   -isystem /usr/lib/gcc/arm-softfloat-linux-uclibc/4.1.2/include -DNDEBUG -fPIC -c syscall.c -o syscall.o

Long emerge output
Comment 2 Jack Kelly 2007-07-05 13:48:53 UTC
I suspect that this is specific to the target somehow, as crossdev -t i686-pc-linux-uclibc finished without error for me.
Comment 3 Pablo Odorico 2007-07-05 14:21:24 UTC
Just tried "crossdev -t i686-pc-linux-uclibc -v" and uclibc installed with no errors, so it is specific to the target.

>>> cross-i686-pc-linux-uclibc/uclibc-0.9.28.3 merged.
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2007-07-05 21:48:46 UTC
ive already fixed this upstream quite sometime ago and it's in 0.9.29
Comment 5 Pablo Odorico 2007-07-08 14:09:46 UTC
Ok, so should I wait uclibc-0.9.29?
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2007-09-15 01:16:37 UTC
yes
