Description Elias Probst 2007-07-03 13:03:42 UTC
www-apps/egroupware-1.4.001 has incomplete dependencies.

When running the webbased setup of a egroupware installation it complains about some missing PEAR modules.

I'll attach a patch for the ebuild to fix this dependencies.

Regards, Elias P.

There is still bugs in this ebuild... Installing those PEAR libs doesn't help much because egroupware doesn't find any PEAR libs, even after they are emerged....

Comment 3 Gunnar Wrobel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-18 10:05:17 UTC
eGroupware does use it's own pear libraries within egw-pear (in the install directory). This installation location is indeed missing stuff like Auth_SASL but this only adds additional functionality and is not required for egw to work.

The standard location for pear packages on Gentoo (/usr/share/php/) does not seem to be picked up by the installer. Thus the provided patch does not help as already noted by btj.

I'm closing this as invalid for now though I realize that this could be fixed by patching the source code. If somebody has a fix for egw so that it takes note of /usr/share/php I'll incorporate it into the ebuild.
