Good news, finally l7-filter-team made it up to add kernel support for kernels 2.6.20+

There is a patch included:

kernel-2.6.20-2.6.22+-layer7-2.10.patch

This means, l7-filter supports all kernels including the 22-tree, which is not released yet.

ebuild not working, the touch command needs to be removed... will add later.

good catch with the touch command.

committed with a few changes - the paths to the files changed in 2.6.20

hope it still works for you and if not i'd be glad to fix it.

Hi Danial,

thx for adding the ebuild. Will test it on Monday when I will build my new kernel for my new hardware.

In order to make all consistent, the version 2.10 needs to be added to iptables, too.

I am going to file a bugreport about it for iptables-team.
