Comment 3 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2007-07-10 07:03:39 UTC
Yes it does. This is covered in gnome 2.18 upgrade guide: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/gnome/howtos/gnome-2.18-upgrade.xml

It will be fixed once tracker manages to release 0.6 finally and upgrading to that is done. They were fighting some other bugs with it, but didn't provide a backport to 0.5 series for reasons that might have been explained on the upstream bug if you manage to find them from inside the duplicate marking comments.

The upstream bug link is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403752
It has only 1096 duplicates marked against it right now, plus the ones that were marked duplicate against other duplicates, just 10 more and it will be dominating http://bugzilla.gnome.org/duplicates.cgi ;p
